International Students’ Enthusiasm in Joining the Fun Workshop on Balinese Traditional Fruit & Flower Arrangement University General

The International Office of Udayana University organized a Fun Workshop on Balinese Traditional Fruit & Flower Arrangement on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the International Office, Sudirman Campus. The event was attended by dozens of international students from Udayana’s various non-degree international programs.

This workshop was part of the International Office’s efforts to prepare international students for competitions to be held during the 65th Anniversary (Dies Natalis) celebrations of Udayana University.

During the workshop, participants learned and practiced the art of arranging fruits and flowers in the traditional Balinese style. The international students enthusiastically tried their hands at creating colorful “gebogan,” a distinctive form of Balinese cultural offerings.

Sina and Johanne, two international students from Germany who joined the event, said that they are very happy to participate as they were able to meet new friends, learn about Balinese culture, and truly feel its spirit.
