However, it has also contributed to pollution, environmental degradation, and depletion of natural resources. These challenges, exacerbated by the growing impact of development, threaten the carrying capacity of nature and could potentially undermine economic stability and human well-being.

To address these pressing issues, expertise in sustainable management and utilization of natural resources is imperative. The Master of Environmental Sciences Program at Udayana University is designed to cultivate professionals equipped with advanced knowledge, technical skills, and a strong commitment to sustainable development. This program emphasizes the importance of natural resource management and environmental stewardship to support the progress and self-reliance of the nation.

International Exposure:

The Master of Environmental Science International Class welcomes students from Indonesia and abroad. This program is conducted in collaboration with Yamaguchi University, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, and The University of Western Australia, offering an enriched academic experience through international exposure.

International Class students can specialize in Environmental Remote Sensing and choose from elective courses, including Oceanography, Digital Image Processing, Meteorology, and Applied Geographic Information Systems for Environmental Management.
