International Class: Bachelor of Tourism

Bachelor of Tourism Programme (BoTP)

The BoTP at the Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University has 3 fundamental characteristics and differentiators compared to similar study programmes, namely the location which is a world tourism destination so that it also becomes a living laboratory as a research object, the strength of

cultural tourism which is translated into local culture-based courses such as Courses Tri Hita Karana, and the strong diversity of teachers and students, making the academic atmosphere more diverse and stronger as material for study. The advantages of this BoTP include: Applying local culturalvalues in the application of knowledge and lectures which are realized inthe Tri Hita Karana course. This course emphasizes elements and

attention to relationships.

BoTP has a specialization in tourism development which is manifested in the four main pillars of tourism: industrial development, destinations, marketing and institutions which are reflected in the courses in the seventh semester. The development of tourism in particular is reflected in elective

courses such as wellness tourism, adventure tourism, pilgrimage, spiritual tourism, urban tourism and rural tourism and a number of other courses and which is a characteristic of our study programme that is not shared by other tourism study programmes in Indonesia specifically related to the location of our study programme in Bali, we place the Tri Hita Karana course as a locally based tourism application and regular KKN and Thematic KKN programmes. Bachelor of tourism in travel

The objective of BoTP is to cultivate tourism graduates equipped with comprehensive knowledge and skills in the tourism industry. Graduates should demonstrate adaptability to technological advancements and possess the capability to foster culture independently, drawing from a diverse range of scientific disciplines while upholding ethical standards, morals, and universal values. The envisioned profile of BoTP graduates encompasses roles such as tourism sector consultants, research assistants in tourism field, managers of tourist attractions, and entrepreneurs within the tourism sector.
