KUI Strengthens Cooperation with US Gostudy University General

Udayana International Study Programs (UISP) is one of the international programs at Udayana University that has been running since 2015 which is managed by KUI and the Faculty of Cultural Sciences by cooperating with Gostudy AS from Norway. Putu Ayu Asty Senja Pratiwi, M.Hum, Ph.D as the Coordinator of KUI Udayana University fulfilled the invitation from the manager of Gostudy AS on Monday (16/10) at Warung Bendega. This meeting was also attended by GoStudy representatives, namely Eirik Waage Gismervik as General Manager of Gostudy AS, Wayan Gunayasa as Gostudy representative in Bali, and Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D.

The meeting was opened with a brief introduction from Gostudy and KUI then continued with a discussion on the evaluation of the cooperation that has been carried out so far at Udayana University. In this discussion, Gostudy really hopes that cooperation with Unud can continue and services for their foreign students will be improved from time to time considering that this is one of the flagship programs of the Norwegian government where their students are required to study abroad. Senja Pratiwi highly appreciates Gostudy for entrusting this program to be implemented at Udayana University and there are no significant obstacles. It will continue to strive to improve the quality of services for a positive image of Unud not only in Norway but also in the eyes of the world and to support the acceleration of internationalization of Unud.

The meeting also discussed several patterns of cooperation that will be implemented by both parties in the future. Both of them hope that by initiating a new program there will be more Norwegian students who will gain learning experience at Udayana University.
