The International Office organizing the 5th International Education and Culture Festival University General

The International Office (KUI) once again hosted The 5th International Education and Culture Festival (IECF) this year. The annual event, held on 7–8 November 2025, served as a platform for local students, international students, partner educational institutions, and representatives of foreign missions to strengthen collaboration in education and cultural exchange.

This year’s 5th IECF featured a wide range of cultural performances, presentations from foreign consulates, and study-abroad information booths open throughout the two-day event.

The festival was officially opened with a gong strike by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D, who also delivered welcoming remarks to all invited guests and participants. “This event reflects Udayana University's strong commitment to promoting internationalization, enhancing academic collaboration, and expanding cross-cultural understanding. With the support of consulates and international education partners, this festival opens opportunities for students to explore global study programs, scholarships, and collaborative networks. We hope this event inspires students to think globally, build cross-border connections, and enrich their academic journey,” Prof. Sujaya stated.

“The 5th IECF embodies our efforts to strengthen internationalization, broaden global collaboration, and celebrate cultural diversity. Through the education fair, presentations by international partners, and performances by students from various countries, this event provides greater opportunities for our academic community to learn, connect, and explore global opportunities. We sincerely appreciate all parties involved in making this event a success so that our shared goals can be achieved,” said Senja Pratiwi, Ph.D, Coordinator of the International Office, during her opening remarks.

On the first day (7 November), a series of cultural performances from various countries were presented by foreign consulates and international students at Udayana University, including:

• Tari Pendet by BIPA and exchange students,

• Tari Halay from Turkey by Globali program students,

• Tektekan/Kulkul by Gostudy program students,

• Indian dance by the Consulate General of India,

• Hana No Kiseki by the Consulate General of Japan,

• Barongsai and Wushu by TCI Unud and the Consulate of China.

In addition to the performances, visitors were able to explore the Study Abroad Booth, open from 08:00–15:00 WITA, providing comprehensive information for students interested in pursuing studies overseas.

The second day (8 November) focused on a series of presentations on overseas education delivered by various foreign consulates and international educational institutions, including:

• Consulate General of Japan in Bali

• Consulate General of Australia

• Consulate General of India

• Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China

• International Undergraduate Program of Udayana University

• Naresy International Education Consultant (NIEC)

• IDP Education Bali

• IBEC (Indonesia Britain Education Centre)

Through these sessions, participants gained comprehensive insights into study opportunities, scholarships, and pathways for international education.
