Udayana University Leaders Attend the World Chinese Language Conference 2025 in Beijing University General

The leadership of Udayana University reaffirmed its commitment to expanding international networks and collaborations by attending The World Chinese Language Conference 2025, held on 13–16 November 2025 in Beijing, China. This global educational forum serves as a strategic platform for university leaders, secondary school representatives, and institutions managing Confucius Institutes and Confucius Institute Classrooms to gather, discuss, and formulate future strategies for Mandarin language education. Through this forum, participants shared experiences, mapped global developments, and strengthened the role of Chinese language and cultural education within the international landscape.

The Udayana University delegation consisted of the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information; the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism; the Coordinator of the International Office (KUI); the Indonesian Director of TCI Unud; the Chinese Director of TCI Unud; and a TCI lecturer who also served as the delegation’s interpreter.

Their participation underscores Udayana University’s commitment to enhancing its international network, particularly in the field of Chinese language and cultural education.

The conference, attended by approximately 4,000 university and secondary school leaders from around the world, was officially opened by the Minister of Education of China and was also attended by representatives of education ministries, ambassadors, and leaders of international educational institutions. Under the theme “Innovation Leads, AI Empowers: Learning Chinese Without Borders,” this year’s conference highlighted digital transformation, technological innovation, and the integration of artificial intelligence to create more inclusive, adaptive, and borderless Mandarin learning.

The conference agenda included plenary sessions, thematic panel discussions, expert presentations, and a major education exhibition featuring leading universities and institutions across China. Participants had extensive opportunities to explore the latest trends, best practices, and rapidly evolving technology-based learning innovations at the global level.

Udayana University’s participation in this global conference marks an important momentum in expanding networks and enhancing the quality of the university’s international programs. With new connections and collaboration opportunities established, Unud is optimistic about further developing impactful and relevant international programs for its academic community, while strengthening its position as an active institution in educational diplomacy within the Asian region.
