Bali International Dental Camp (Study Program of Dentistry) (2 Week)

BACKGROUND

Bali International Dental Camp”. Department of Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine Udayana University presents a unique program for all dental students from around the world. This program combines clinical practice and social-fun activities. Instead of studying in class most of the time, we prefer to do more activities outside, for example observe dental hospital and visit Public Health Centre facilities. This program allows participants to perform subjective and objective examination, diagnose and treatment in a modified Problem Based Learning System. Participants will also join the social service or voluntary work at elementary school or certain community. This 2-week program is designed for international students who are interested in gaining exposure to Udayana educational experience, while exploring the beautiful island of Bali.

OBJECTIVES

1. Students able to describe epidemiology and demographic aspect of population in their home country

2. Students able to describe some traditional medicine used in dentistry

3. Students able to describe various research related to traditional/herbal medicine

4. Students able to practice an active, respectful and empathetic communication with community

5. Students able to describe the function of hypnotherapy in dentistry

6. Students able to describe the effect of the

ceremony to the natural teeth
