Bali International Program on Asian Studies (BIPAS) (Undergraduate) (16 Week)
BACKGROUND
The Bali International Program on Asian Studies for undergraduate students provides the course a basic understanding of each activity, such as comprehensive understanding of international tourism management by means of describing various aspects of tourism holistically; a basic understanding of Indonesian history, ethnology, culture and customs; macro and micro economic issues in South East Asia and Indonesia particularly relevant for foreign scholar and business people to gain better understanding on local business practices; cover both general and particular issues on Indonesia’s legal tradition relating to trade and investment; focus of the Indonesia language course is oral expression and comprehension; the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, the role of entrepreneur in economic, creativity and entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial process such as critical factors for starting a new enterprise, evaluating opportunities for new business and ingredients for a successful new business.
OBJECTIVES
Upon the completion of this course, the students are expected to have some understanding of the activities in Bali International Program on Asian Studies for undergraduate students.
