International Students' Mixed Feelings at the Graduation Ceremony of Tropical Engineering Program University General

The graduation ceremony of international students of the Tropical Engineering (TE) program today, Friday (15/12) at the Postgraduate Hall was filled with a happy atmosphere but there was also deep sadness felt by the students. Happiness radiated because they had all successfully passed all lectures and exams with very satisfying results but the novelty was also felt because they had to leave the island of Bali which was so beautiful in its panorama and unique in its culture.

The impressions and messages were conveyed by three representatives of the TE program graduates of the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Udayana University (Unud). The Graduation Ceremony this time graduated 36 international students for the Winter semester 2023 period where lectures had started from September to December 2023 and were attended by 24 students from Germany, 8 students from Denmark, 1 student from Latvia, 1 student from Austria, 1 student from England and 1 student from the Netherlands who were divided into 3 concentrations namely Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the KUI Coordinator, the Head of the Tropical Engineering International Program, representatives of Study in Bali, lecturers and international students in the program.

On the occasion, KUI Coordinator, Senja Pratiwi, Ph.D said that Udayana University will always be open to TE international students who want to continue their studies, conduct collaborative research, and various other academic matters. She also asked international students to help promote Udayana University to their universities and home countries. Senja hopes that in the next period the number of students in the program can continue to grow along with the increasing quality of service to students.
