TCI Unud Board Meeting, New Director Conveys Commitment to Increase International Collaboration University General

Jimbaran - The Annual Board Meeting of TCI (Tourism Confucius Institute) Udayana University took place online from three locations namely Udayana University in Bali, Nanchang University and Nanchang Normal University in China, Wednesday (8/1/2025). Present at this meeting were the Rector of Udayana University, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, KUI Coordinator, TCI Director, and Parties from Nanchang University and Nanchang Normal University.

The main agenda of this meeting included several reports submitted by TCI leaders. The accountability report was delivered by Prof. Tao Xiang Guang, former Director of China TCI who gave a presentation on the achievements and challenges faced by TCI during his leadership period. This report was followed by the delivery of the Final Budget report by Dr. I Made Sendra, former TCI Indonesia Director, who provided an overview of TCI's financial condition and budget management during his leadership as TCI Indonesia Director.

The event continued with the presentation of the work plan for 2025 by TCI's new Indonesia Director, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Widyatmaja. In the presentation, he emphasized the strategic plan and important initiatives to be taken by TCI Indonesia in supporting stronger international collaboration in the future. TCI's new China Director, Mr. Lu Kemin, expressed his commitment to strengthen the relationship between TCI China and international partners, especially in Indonesia and Bali.
