Continuing the Success of Winter Camp, KUI Holds Summer Camp 2024 Program University General

The Office of International Affairs (KUI) of Udayana University (Unud) held the opening of KUI's flagship program, Summer Camp 2024 on Monday (05/08) at the Nusantara Room, Sudirman Unud Campus. Summer Camp 2024 will be held for one week from August 5-10, 2024, attended by 42 participants from six overseas partner universities namely from Nanchang Normal University, Shandong Jianzhu University (SDJZU), NanChang University, Henan University of Urban Construction, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia.


The event was opened by introducing Balinese culture through the appearance of Unud students who performed the Merak Angelo Dance.


In her speech, Senja Pratiwi, Ph.D., Coordinator of KUI said that this Summer Camp is the first summer program held at Udayana University after the success of the Winter Camp program which was held in January. Participants will be given a combination of learning in the classroom and outside the classroom with materials that are very interesting and themed on Balinese culture. 


Representative lecturers from Nancang Normal University, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Henan University of Urban Construction had the opportunity to say a few words and they thanked Unud, especially KUI for designing Summer Camp activities with a very interesting concept. 


Rector of Unud Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT.Ph.D, IPU in his speech which also officially opened this program and gave a brief introduction of Udayana University. The Rector of Udayana University said that this program could increase the internationalization of Udayana University because it involved 42 participants from six overseas partner universities which could increase the number of foreign students. He also expressed his gratitude to all participants for choosing Unud and appreciated KUI Unud for designing this very interesting Summer and Winter Camp program. The Rector officially opened this program and hoped that it could run well so that the participants were impressed and were expected to become 'spokespersons' to promote Unud to their colleagues and friends when they returned to their home countries.


Towards the end of the event, a nametag procession was carried out to the representative participants from each university symbolically by the Rector and Vice Rector and closed with a group photo followed by all participants and Invitations.
